Bath of Adonis – a mystical place with a waterfall

The Mavrokolympos stream flows through a gorge and a waterfall forms on a slope. Over the centuries the water has eroded the rock and formed a small lake.

You can also swim in the small lake below the waterfall in this almost unspoilt, exotic setting. Who knows, you might even feel like Adonis with his Aphrodite.

What’s waiting for you:

We arrange a meeting point with you or pick you up at your hotel. Arrived at the bath of Adonis, we will show you this little paradise, give you enough time to take a refreshing bath, have the opportunity to explore everything yourself or just to chill. After your time at the waterfall, we invite you to a local restaurant for a late lunch. Depending on the season, the cosy restaurant in the mountains may be closed. In this case, we will prepare a picnic in nature where you can enjoy the delicacies of Cyprus.

Just above the waterfall is a traditional watermill, which makes the perfect backdrop for some great souvenir photos.

Before the mill we explore a statue park where the statue of Aphrodite towers over everything at over 10 metres high. There are also statues of the lovers Adonis and Aphrodite, Priapos and Athena. It is not for nothing that Cyprus is known as the Island of the Gods.

Please note

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you. We will then take you on our exploration tour, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. Of course, by the way, we will not forget to show you interesting places to take pictures. We’ll find out what really interests and excites you. So our tour with you is very personal. Don’t worry, we won’t tell you any novels about the history, we’ll just give you some information and give you time to take in the impressions and / or take photos.
• Lunch in Restaurant or Picknick:  If you prefer not to eat meat, vegetarian or vegan options are also available.
• We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00. We won’t be doing any long walks, but you’ll still want to wear suitable footwear and, depending on the time of year, bring a hat or cap to protect you from the sun, or a jacket in case it gets a bit chilly. All in all, the tour lasts between 6 and 7 hours, it depends on you, because this event is only for you and your family, partner or friends that you book in.

We will be happy to pick you up from your hotel free of charge if you are staying in the Agia Napa – Protaras – Paralimni region, or in Larnaca Destrict
(e.g. Oroklini – Pyla – Livadia – Larnaca City). Pick up is also possible for more distant routes, but we will then charge a small surcharge.
