Once we reach the region around the mountain village of Lefkara on our private tour, we visit an organic olive farm that is now in its umpteenth generation. Marvel at the olive trees, some of which are over 800 years old, gaze out over the Troodos Mountains and sample a variety of olive products. Most people are familiar with olive oil, but there is so much more to olives than pressing them. You will be amazed at the many cosmetic products, how soft your skin becomes with an olive cream or soap, how good a jam tastes in various combinations with fruit, and all without sugar.

We then visit the mountain village of Lefkara, which can confidently be described as one of the most picturesque places in Cyprus. The village prospered in the Middle Ages with lace-making, silversmithing and fine olive delicacies. To this day, the villagers continue to practice their traditional crafts and you can see and buy these products in many of the shops in the village.

The entire village has been lovingly restored to retain its original character. With each season, the village presents itself in a different light thanks to the different plants and flowers. Even if you have been here before, you will be captivated by the tranquillity and cosiness of the place.

And if you like, we can stop off at a typical Cypriot taverna to sample local delicacies or home baked cakes. Just let us know and we’ll arrange it for you.

• We will pick you up at your hotel or arrange a meeting point with you. We will then take you on a tour of Larnaca and the surrounding area, without the stress, hectic pace and time pressure of other guests. Of course, we will show you the small streets and lovely houses with shops and galleries, but we will not forget to show you some of the really interesting places to take pictures. We’ll find out what really interests and excites you. So our tour with you is very personal. Don’t worry, we won’t tell you any novels about the history, we’ll just give you some information and give you time to take in the impressions and / or take photos.

• Before we start the return journey to your hotel, we invite you to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a typical lunch. If you prefer not to eat meat, vegetarian or vegan options are also available.
• We will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00. You must be dressed appropriately to enter the interior of the churches and mosques. Knees and shoulders covered, a big scarf sometimes helps the ladies a lot.
  All in all, the tour lasts between 4.5 and 5 hours, it depends on you, because this event is only for you and your family, partner or friends that you book in.
